THE GOOD BROTHERS

The brothers' first gig was the legendary Toronto club The Riverboat, on May 14, 1974 and before long they were packing Toronto's fabled El Macombo five nights a week; breaking bar records, attendance records and exhausting determined dancers.

Then there were eight straight Juno awards for Best Country Group, and headline gigs at Massey Hall, Roy Thompson Hall, The National Art Centre and the weeks at L.A.'s Universal Amphitheatre with (their mentor) Gordon Lightfoot. There was even a self-titled double gold album.

THE GOOD FAMILY

The concept of The Good Family band took root when a pair of musician brothers invited their parents to join them on a musical romp throughout Scotland, England and Wales. At some venues they were described as being Canada’s answer to the legendary Carter Family. Since then, the band has blossomed to include even more of this talented lineage.

DREW LEITH AND THE FOUNDATION

With one foot in the city and the other placed firmly in rural Ontario, Drew Leith and The Foundation(DLF) are a true “small town” band, if there ever was such a thing. Dubbed “Canadiana” Folk-Rock, the band’s sound is reminiscent of the Southern-Rock greats, with many subtle nuances of country, rock-a-billy and alternative mixed throughout. A band that is equally talented on-stage or behind the glass of a studio, DLF continues to make bigger and bigger waves, from the tributaries of their small-town roots, to the Great Lakes and beyond.
